Northern Edge Coffee (4♥) is a roaster from Berwick upon Tweed that sets up their coffee stand at the Edinburgh Farmers' Markets every Saturday.

Edinburgh Castle looms over the markets and is an excellent place to pick up high quality items from local independent farmers and producers. On offer is a range of high quality meats, seafood, veggies and fruit as well as artisan products including breads, jams, beers, chocolates, yummy eat-on-the-spot burgers and rolls and many other choices.

Pictured is Dan who runs Northern Edge and drives up from Berwick upon Tweed every week for the market. His ethos fits in well with the other market stall-holders who are also passionate about ethical sourcing and great quality. You can also pick yourself up some beans to take home.
